This Shire stallion will almost certainly catch the judge's eyes as he
thunders across the show ring. Shires are one of the largest draft
breeds, and Jethro is no exception - he stands approximately 11" tall,
and is mounted on a base for greater stability and security. With a
delightful expression and perfect anatomy and conformation, down to
the tiniest sculptural details, Jethro is a delight for the model horse
collector.

| A TRUE STORY ABOUT JETHRO FROM ONE OF OUR CUSTOMERS! "I about dropped the rest of my mail on the ground when I came across the little orange slip telling me I had a package waiting in the office! I composed myself and tried not to skip as I made my way across the parking lot. The box was enormous! How large is this "large traditional?" I had to tell myself to hold on, Jethro could wait until we were back in the apartment. I had visions of him from the website flying around my head, and the questions as to what color I would paint him... Surely he's not this large! I started unwrapping bubble wrap at a furious pace. His head and tail were mummified. When I got him completely free, I had to sit there with my jaw in my lap. He's HUGE! And so wonderful! His expression is one of a gentle giant, with a few tricks up his sleeve for the right occasion. I don't have a camera, so here's a comparison - I placed an ISH next to him. The ISH's back overlaps the bottom of Jethros's belly by about a quarter inch. The first time I saw Jethro, I reserved one. Even in his raw, unfinished state I knew he was going to be the perfect drafter. And I'm not disappointed in the least. If you are sitting on the fence about this boy, go for it. You won't be disappointed. Now I don't know what color to grace this wonderful boy.
