Meet Amisha, a four inch tall (Breyer Little Bits scale) Marwari mare.
The Marwari pony hails from India. Thought to be descended from horses brought to India by
Alexander the Great and crossed with some The Marwari pony hails from India. Thought to be
descended from iron. One of the most interesting characteristics of the Marwari are the
horses brought to India by Alexander the Great and crossed with some ears - they always
curve and meet, or nearly meet in the middle! Arabian stock, the Marwari is a tough, wiry
horse with feet and legs of Marwari ponies stand about 14 hands high and are found in all
colors of the rainbow, with creams and pinto colors popular.
Candace has sculpted a rearing Marwari mare with all the right characteristics - even the
pointed ears! Amisha's name means "beautiful". She is a standard one mold edition of
50-60 pieces, with the artist offering a handful of painted pieces too.
Amisha is cast in solid white resin at the artist's studio. She is available raw cast, or prepped
and primed - ready for you to paint! Candace Liddy also paints her work for customers.
