Unlike Breyer horses, Artist Resin model horses are sold unpainted. They are cast in
a white resin compound which must be sanded, primed and painted. Most
customers choose to do this themselves or you can find and hire a painter to create
a one of a kind model for you. Painting and Prepping Services Directory.
Our original Artist Resin models are usually made in the USA and one or two molds
runs, which means they are limited to edition size of 30 to no more than 100 copies,
worldwide. The exact edition size is specified on each item's page. Many Artist Resin
model horses are named by the sculptor. These names do not mean they are
portraits of a real horse by that name - it is the name of the artwork. Resins are
listed by scale, then by name on our shopping page.
We accept PayPal and all credit cards through PayPal only online. We accept money
orders and personal checks by mail order. We no longer accept credit card orders
by phone.

NAN stands for "North American Nationals" and
is the national championship "live" model horse
show. Winners from every part of the country
bring their models to the national show to
compete for top prizes. Sherrylynne Shaver won
a NAN Top 10 ribbon with her painted "Wyakin"
resin, sold by EquinArt Creations, sculpted by
Michelle Platt. While Wyakin is sold out, the mini
version, Wee Wyakin is still available, along with
companion foals Aart and Aponi.
